IQ is overrated: what you really need is EQ!
Emotional quotient (EQ), or emotional intelligence, is defined as an individual’s ability to identify, evaluate, control and express the emotions of oneself, of others and of groups and also to perceive and assess others’ emotions; use emotions to facilitate thinking and understand emotional meanings. People with a high EQ usually make great leaders and team players because of their ability to understand, empathize and connect with the people around them. Their strengths are teamwork, leadership, successful relations, service orientation, initiative and collaboration.
